The 'Gladiator' star has been linked with the project alongside Liam Neeson.

If rumour has it, director Darren Aronofsky is after Academy Award winner Russell Crowe to play the lead in Biblical film Noah.

Liam Neeson has also been linked to the project, possibly in another role as a villain who is sceptical of Noah’s plans.

Can you think of anybody better to take on the role as the man given the task by God to build a giant ark to save a pair of every animal?

Noah is expected to hit our cinema screens during the summer of 2013.
