Harrison Ford starred in one of Ridley Scott's most popular pictures.

The 1982 Sci-Fi classic Blade Runner has a sequel in the works but producer/financier Alcon Entertainment have denied Harrison Ford was in talks to reprise his role as replicant hunter Rick Deckard.

Andrew Kosove, on behalf of himself and his Alcon Entertainment partner Broderick Johnson, said they wanted to put a stop to the rumour of Ford’s return to the film.

“It is absolutely patently false that there has been any discussion about Harrison Ford being in Blade Runner.” … “The casting of the movie could not be further from our minds at this moment.”

The film has no scheduled release and is being compared to that of Ridley Scott’s other new movie Prometheus which is a return to his Alien world but sits as a standalone movie.
